Planing and interior design of 165 sqm Duplex Apartment in Tel Aviv. The apartment was designed as a vacation apartment for a family that does not live in Israel, but visits frequently.
The tenants asked for an apartment that could serve them both when they visit alone as a couple, and when they visit with their adult children. Entry level was designed as a flexible space that can adapt itself to number of scenarios:
A large living room which can split to a normal-sized living room and another bedroom using 2 hidden wooden acoustic sliding doors, and a hidden dark-curtain. The roof level is an open-air hospitality and recreation area, in which the boundaries between the outer and interior spaces are blurred.
