180sqm Apartment, Tel Aviv
Photographs: Gal Deren
The owners are a young family- couple with 2 children, who wanted a home that they could raise their family in. The apartment spreads on the whole floor of building, with two big shafts in the middle one contains the building staircase and anther for ventilation, the entrance is also in the middle so the space was naturally divided in half. Half of the apt. is the public area- kitchen, living room, play area, study (with double doors so it can also be opened to the space), all in one continues open space, the other half bedrooms and baths. The request in terms of style was clean but with a warm feeling, so white and light grey for the floor and kitchen, wood and the brick wall gave the warm feeling, and the pop of color in the furniture brought it all to life.
