100sqm Penthouse, Jaffa
Architecture & design Studio Sami Shalom Knafo with Craft & Bloom
Photographs: Suzie Levinson
Interior design of 100 sqm apartment with roof terrace and small balconies in the Greek market in Jaffa. The apartment is part of a building built in the middle of the last century and renovated in the 1980s. Originally the apartment was in very bad shape before the renovation, which made it to an apartment with a New York scent, in a cool and warm industrial atmosphere. Much emphasis was placed on the roof terrace to create a garden atmosphere in the city. A Jaffa charm combined with a very fine taste of the owners. On the roof, there is also an outside shower, a comfortable kitchen with a barbecue, a seating area, a large dining table and a hammock.
