120sqm Apartment, Jaffa
Photographs: Shai Epstein
120 sqm apartment in a unique building constructed in 1933, inspired by the ‘International Style’. The Design took into account the environmental conditions – increase thermal insulation and thermal comfort, maximized the natural light, enabled to sustain the breeze through the flat and the magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea. The space is divided by two main axes, that contains both the systems and storage, detached from the beams. The original structure was preserved and remained intact. The 3.5m floating ceiling enables the entry of light and air. The division into two separate wings offers a feeling of privacy and spaciousness. Various local materials were chosen in order to enhance the stunning colorful Israeli modern works of art.
