120sqm Apartment, Modiin

Planning and interior design of 120 sqm apartment with 120 sqm yard, in 120sqm Apartment, Modiin.
The apartment is located in a building that is only 9 years old, but the division of space was not to the customers’ taste.
The desire was to make the apartment such that it feels unique and authentic with a clean, ventilated space and minimal and precise design.
In the initial stage, space was redistributed, with the emphasis on separating public space from private space.
Original elements that characterize a contractor’s apartment were replaced – like the busy shutters and heavy aluminum windows, replaced by thin, white frames with minimal partitions for maximum viewing.
The blinds were installed in the exterior walls of the apartment, creating a sense of higher ceilings and a clean and tidy space.
The use of glass in the interior doors made of iron allowed natural light to penetrate and illuminate the northern and darker session of the apartment.
The living room wall combined with exposed concrete block and a wooden frame window creates a divide between the public and private space. In the children’s bedroom, a carpentry element was built that serves as a partition instead of walls and through which you can enter through it.
The monochromatic color palette is highlighted in all spaces, and previous and proper design of storage solutions have also allowed for a clean space and not packed with items. Various furniture and elements of carpentry and frames specially designed according to the design concept have created a pleasant harmony with the new space division
