140sqm Rooftop Apartment, Tel-Aviv

This 140sqm apartment located in a 70’s building in Tel aviv, and renovated especially for the family needs (a couple + 2 kids and a dog). The long plan includes 2 floors: The lowest floor includes the living room next to the kitchen, a long corridor leads to the parents master room and 2 other bedrooms for the kids, which connected by two sliding blue doors. The upper floor includes a family room with a kitchen and a shower unite. This upper floor planed with a future option to be closed as a living unit for one of the kids.
A big wide roof with an outdoor kitchen and a service area looks at the Mediterranean sea, with same floor tiles of the upper floor, it makes the feeling of continuity. All the carpentry works such as the kitchen, storage objects, beds and dividers like doors and libraries designed at the studio by the architects in order to answer all needs of the family. Using classical design language and details like french kitchen doors or marble tiles next to modern materials like consecrate floor and metal stairs, create plentiful spaces.
