170sqm Apartment, Tel Aviv
Photographs: Amit Geron
Planning and interior design of 170sqm apartment in a preserved building. The apartment is facing two different streets, in opposite directions. Scenery emphasis was made by two wooden walls stretching from One facade to the other of the apartment. The geometry of the apartment is not orthogonal – working area was planned as a white space, at night – a box of light coming out of the wooden wall. Bedrooms are bright and airy spaces that contrast with the materiality of the wooden walls. A tension of the geometric angles is amplified by the material contrast, creating changes in the atmosphere from space to space.
