225sqm Apartment, Tel-Aviv
Photographs: Richard Jochum
Interior design of 225sqm apartment, situated in luxury tower in central Tel-Aviv. The apartment, like many tower apartments, is characterized by very narrow dimensions due to the central elevator core structure. Accordingly, peeling layers of plaster covering the nucleus, set up a connection to the context of the existing building skeleton, as well as gained more space to expand the narrow waist of the apartment. The exposed concrete wall, was chiseled manually using a hammer and chisel, creating a unique texture. Museum like lighting system was installed to illuminate the art collection at an angle and ideal temperature. The furniture for the apartment were specially designed using bamboo boards that enable the creation of large openings with delicate wall thickness.
