200sqm House, Herzliya
Photographs: Amit Geron
Planing and interior design of 200 sqm house in Herzliya, characterized by an industrial-crude style. The architects left the walls of the blocks exposed both outside and inside, a ceiling without plaster and a smoothed concrete floor. The 600 square meter plot house was built on one floor and divided into three areas, a southern wing is the parents’ wing, a northern wing with three children’s rooms and a “public” space connecting the two wings. The “floating” concrete roof rests on three steel beams and allows the entry of natural light throughout the day. Family owned furniture items and works of art, as well as, new bought items were combined in the interior design of the house.
