80sqm Apartment, Tel Aviv
Photographs: Yael Landesman Savaryego & Noga Porat
interior design of 80 sqm 4 room apartment, in Tel Aviv. The apartment was designed for a researcher and film lecturer, his entrepreneurial wife, and their two children. The design challenge was to create a maximum sense of space and light in the public space so that it would not come at the expense of private spaces. A glass door was designed to separate the public space from one of the children’s rooms, allowing for increased family space as needed, and serves as a box of light when the room is closed. Emphasis has been placed on many storage solutions and utilization of the height of the space by designing custom craftsmanship carpentry. The kitchen is the heart of the events at home and combines one of the workplaces for use by parents and children.
