Planning and interior design of Mediterranean House for a family with three children. The main design concept was to preserve the existing garden which contains of a typical Mediterranean fauna with a small orchard. The public spaces in the floor plan layout (Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room) are arranged parallel to the balcony. These spaces open to the exterior through the balcony, both in views, as well as in orientation. The house re-examines the boundaries of interior space on the ground level with the use of natural light and transparent glass elevations. These glass elevations on the ground floor are used as dynamic partitions, while the upper windows allow filtered sunlight into the space.
